Spock

    Well, after viewing Alex's ambassador Spock, I'm a little hesitant to put these out here!

    Spock's finally finished sculpting and I've started to paint him. Flesh is on and he's undercoated (I paint in oils). Hope to have him done by the end of the weekend and I'll post some more pics when he's finished.

    Comments/critiques welcome. (Pete, I did rework the nose, hope it looks about right now).

    Really nice on the skin tones (esp on the ears! )

    Also, you got the blue color of the uniform spot on. What blue is it, btw?

    Thanks guys!

    The blue is cerulean blue mixed with titanium white. Looked very 'sky blue' on the palette, but the darker undercoat brought it to the correct hue.

    So you kind of "highlighted" that dark basecoat with your cerulean bue oil paint mix? Well the effect is good indeed.

    Nevertheless, it's your skin tones that I really adore !!!
