    Hi guys .

As i told you inthe previous post the pictures were somedays old. In the mean time iwas progressing and , early this morning i managed to finish the figure...
    Well did i ?

Hmm when you work from 22.00 night till 05.00 morning nonstop you do some silly things ... So when i shooted the pictures you will see i had forgotten topaint the paper piece thatis in the map case on his back . i painted after shooting but i was too much tired to reshoot.

So please forgive that and the bad picture quality as the light was playing tricks all the time

I really must put more work into my bases, as to me they've always been just a support for the figure - you've turned them into a part of the model Costas and it looks fantastic!
The painting on the figure is well up to your usual standard, but the overall effect of base & figure is just stunning!

That's simply amazing Costas my friend. I believe that this is one of your best figures overall. Superb groundwork that tights up nicely with the figure. Way to go my friend.

A great work. And the best is the effect of base and figure. I like it. I want to see more.

    Hello Costas

A new great precentation. The basework is beautiful, clever way to make the waterfall as a part of the base. How about a SBS of your water work?
The figure is a classic too, I have one laying around for future project...

    All the best

    Costas,

Your figure is beautifull paint. But in my opinion i think you must do more shading and highlighting on the violet. It seems all the same colour, but it can be the picture's.
For the base. I have resinable doubts that water falling down into water is not a great collumn but small. (i don't now how to explain). Maybe this: when i see your water it looks like the cave's that you can visit with the stalagtieten and stalagmieten growing to each ohter. That is not what a waterfall do.
    Further excellent base.

    Costas!

That is gorgeous!!! Makes me thirsty!

I love your treatment of the yellows!

I think your water is inspired and obviously makes others rethink their usage of ground work!!

I read that you were not satisfied with the lower water. Your ground treatment is way beyond me and I see no need to change it, but if you do want to, I read a great article on falling water and representing the resulting splashes in AMAZING FIGURE MODELER by Anthony Mestas (AFM issue 28).

I don't know if you have your own concept of the wanted changes or not but if you are interested and do not have access to the article I would be pleased to get it to you. If interested at all, I can email one page of the article showing the effects I am speaking of for your evaluation.

    Best,

    Kevin D.
