    Hello All,
This is an attempt to work with close folds to show movement.Ying and Yang ,using positive and negative shape create the folds that should balance each other out and look more natural.Still some work to go.
    Comments welcome.

This looks great! My favorite from your line.
This camo jump suit is so hard to sculpt, and you
    captured the look really well.

One thing I want to point out is that PPSH is
very heavy. It would be hard to hold it up
like that unless it's slung over the shoulder
    with a strap.

    Just my 2 cents

I agree with Taesung, the PPSH is a very heavy weapon, I have handled several samples of it. A sling around the shoulder would be the proper way to display it.

    Cheers and good luck.

    Stu,
The intention is to sculpt a winter smock as the fabric is lighter, but I dont see why a summer pattern cant be used.

You are out of the disaster now????
Hope to see this finished. I like it. Don't know much of this soldiers, but it is a great challenge for us painters.

A proper jacket for the barrel!

    Cool!

While it may be fiddly for some figure painters (best include some hints about annealing) it will add to the realism of the figure!

    Cheers

Andy excellent sculpting, love the sense of action/movement in this piece and a great idea to add the photo-etch to the PPSH. Brilliant.

Anything worth doing will have an element of difficulty in it.Having experimented with the photo etch, you see the fold lines. All you have to do is wrap the jacket around a 2.5mm drill bit and lightly press with your fingers and the fold lines do the rest, there are fold lines at the chamber area as well.

Hi Andy, nice touch, PE in this scale will be easy enough for figure modellers not used to this medium. Les
