I recently received 2 busts from Young Miniatures for doing a review of each kit. The first is the Soviet Mountaineer Officer in 1942. Sculpted by the talented Ebroin this kit consists of 12 resin parts cast in a yellow resin. The box art was done by planetfigure member, Franco Mocci.

The above top photograph shows the standard Young Miniature's box made of sturdy cardboard with all parts sandwiched between layers of foam. All the small parts come sealed in zip-lok bags to insure against loss while in transit. The bottom photograph shows all the parts removed from the box and zip-lok bags and ready for inspection and to be photographed.

    Conclusion:
Another excellent kit from the Young Miniatures. Casting blocks need to be removed carefully prior to assembly and painting. Highly recommended.

It's a beautiful bust and the paint job is perfect. I really like is the barrel of the machine gun, in two parts, with their vents and the rope on his shoulder.
The face resembles the actor Ed Harris.
