Hi to all on PF ,
It always nice to see a new company (to me at least) release some new additions to their range so I was pleased to have the postman knock on the door and be given a package from S2K .
What was in the package ...2 busts (my eyes lit up
) from the owner of Sovereign 2000 (S2K) ..Marc Day .
Scale : Approx 1:9th
Material : Resin
Reference Number : S2KB003 - SS Tank Commander
Sculptor for both: Tony Williams
This bust is a follow on from the Tanker bust that I have also reviewed on PF Coming in a sealable bag held securely in a white cardboard box , preventing any damage .
On the review sample the box art was unpainted but customers purchases will have a full colour image on the front ...which will provide good reference material if needed .
Consisting of a total of 3 main pieces (torso , head, and small pedastal base ) plus 4 pieces which make up the headphones he wears in typical fashion as seen in many real life pictures. Also inclusded is some elastic thread to be used to represent the cables from the headphones (put a bit of super glue on it to stop fraying when cut)
There are casting plugs to remove , but no real job dealing with these , its good to see the cap one being on the edge and not the top) . Fit is good after the prep required .
The model is sculpted wearing the reversible smock and a cap with his headphones ready .
