Source of illumination

    Hello!

Which source of illumination do you use, when photographing your Figures?

I need a "benchmark" because every light reflects the paints more or less intensive. So, it is important for painting shadows and highlights to know when they are adequate.

The trousers got highlights and shadows, so refer to this.

    Many thanks (y)

I use the light where the figures in our competition are judged. That are blue light bulbs from 60 W. I use two of them.
I use them for painting and photographing the figures.

    Joachim,

I'd suggest to use daylight bulbs for both painting and photos (guess the same what Marc mentions), they are very close to real daylight, hence you have constant circumstances for the whole process.
Btw, nice shading on the white! :)

    Thank you Marc and Denes!

I use daylight bulbs, Osram Dulux, 11W.

I did the pictures with "lamp" with my daylight lamp. I also adjusted the white balance of my camera.

The color of the figure shoot with daylight lamp are a little bit more accurate but in real daylight the highlights and shadows are more apparent.

Denes, thank´s for the "adjudgement" of the shades:)
