    In the fourth picture i see black.I think the lighting is to hard and therefore it looks like blue. (shade's where in colorphotographie also blue (very darkblue)).
    It is possible that the highlight was paynes grey. Maybe the black is a mix from black, raw umber... and then highlight with white give's some blue.

    So Georges forgive my cinical comment.... But i see black in the fourth.

    Prime-colour is matt humbrol 64 grey + matt humbrol 33 black/little/
    Then I use only oil colours.
    midtone - ivory black+titanium white+ultramarine deep/little/
    shading - ivory black+ultramarine deep
    highlighting - midtone+titanim white

    Maybe you're right Marc, I'm novice in painting and not an expert. For me it's looking blue-greyish ! Let wait and see what can say the author.

    Georges, I saw Radeks figure on real and the colour is gray...perhaps grey+a little bit blue....
