    Great painting Brian.
I really like your weathering painting. Is your style, a sign of identity, and is something very difficult to obtain. Congratulations. :)

Excellent work as always Brian. I really like the weathered look that you achieved. I wouldn't want to meet up with this guy.

Really pleased to hear you've recovered enough from your injury to finish this Brian and it's well up to your usual high standard.
I could easily pick one of your gems out in an identity parade of busts. :D That's meant in a good way. (y)

Stunning work Brian! The wear and tear, weathering, and just overall worn look to the piece is perfect. Tons of character (y)

Many thanks phil, that's what I was aiming for in the piece, the aged, ragged look that you associate with solider from this period (y)

Perhaps smudger comes from your amazing ability to make your pieces so dirty in a realistic way.......LOL. I know it's not true Brian but as others have said you have a very distinct painting style and that is something so few people achieve-a sign of rare talent.
Always enjoy seeing your pieces mate - really inspirational.
