These are the pics of the almost completed Fagin.

This figure will be released the next week to continue the Oliver Twist's series.

Due to the Bill Sikes success we are also preparing some special offer!

The sculpt is very good but it does not convey the sinister feel of the character for me. The face does not look old enough and does not come across as the hunched up creepy moneylender described in the book.

I'm guessing this is based on Ron Moody from the Oliver musical?
Got to agree with Ken in a way, it's an excellent sculpt but I'd have liked to have seen him more stooped and bandy legged with the older features. From memory the shoes are wrong too ... I realise that much of the dirty, greasy look will be added by the painter but there's just something not quite there IMHO.
The portrail of him scuttling upstairs with his cashbox is spot on though and the handkerchief hanging from his coat pocket is a nice touch (y)

    Another wonderful sculpt!.
I'm beginning to regret myself not being familiar at all with these Dickens characters, otherwise I could experience the magic that these figure series seem to give off:cry:...
    Anyway, Felicidades Diego!!

The more Dicken's characters the better. :) I'll add this to my ever growing list of must have's but I concur with Ken and Richard, I would have liked to see him a bit more sleasy. Any report on what scale?

I feel so inadequate when it comes to my familiarity with classic literature. I had to look up Bill Sykes and this fellow to find out who they were. :wtf:
Not my scale but they look very cool and well done.

Thak you every one for the comments!

I forgot to say that the sacale is 75mm (1/24). My main inspiration has been the novel itself, but of course i have been highly influenced by the movie adaptation that I have seen. Also, I have seen quite a bunch of old engravings about old Fagin. But above all, just as it happened with Bill Sikes, this is my personal interpretation of the character.

    Next week: Casting ;)

    Nice one, Diego!

Might have to add this one to my (growing) collection although not my usual area of interest.
