Hi guys, it's been a few weeks since I posted anything. Here is the latest project I just started today. Before I get to the final blending on the flesh I wanted to check what you think of the oriental skin tones I haven't tried them before. Am I in the right ball park as far as Asian skin tones go? Any comments or critique would be appreciated and thanks for looking in.

    Andrew.

They look dark enough to me Andrew, Asian skin tones are no different than
white regards variation, some are darker some are lighter ! so think you are in the ball park.

This looks like it will be a good one, look forward to your updates. (y)

Good !! I like it already and spot on as far as I am concerned, you can add more highlights to the very exposed areas under the eyes, but it isn't wholly necessary, it's good so far as it is.:D

There is nothing wrong with the skincolor. Like what you have done so far.

I personally think they are dialed in just right. It all blends well and looks very realistic which is where you want to be. You kinda have a weathered look to the features too and that will only add to the realism as you go along. Ya, keep er rollin.(y)(y)

Andrew, Asian skintone varies from north (northern china, Japan) to south (canton, Vietnam, Thailand), and each region is rich in variety and exceptions - some trades jus make u go real tan anyway) so as long as the chosen collies tell the story u want to tell, it's basically fine.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was trying to make him look like he'd been out in the weather so I guess I'm heading in the right direction.
And thanks for the link Carl that's a useful post.
