This is a re-release of the former I&E Miniatures figure which was discontinued several years ago.
It is a 150mm figure of a Landsknecht
Sculpted by Nick Dransfield and cast in resin from the original master.
The model will launch at Euro & is priced at £58 plus postage. Available for mail order now with despatch immediately after the show weekend

Casting looks top notch Steve. Nice to see this one again. Good luck with this I am sure it will prove very popular. Will take a look at one on Saturday.

This is a lovely piece of sculpting.........somewhat reminiscent of the Andrea 54mm of the exact same chap![I have him in the cabinet]. Which was itself taken from a Historex conversion by one Steve Pajak for the Historex Competitions way,way back in the mists of time. Or the late 70's/early 80's, as us older chaps know it.
Nice to see it scaled up,however; it is still a strikingly dramatic subject. Looking forward to giving it the once-over at Euro.

    Cheers, Alan

You kept that one quiet Steve! Nice to see something from the old I&E range putting in a reappearance. Hope that more will follow.

Alan, I remember seeing the Stan Pajak conversion - at Northern Militaire (I think). I think that all three versions drew inspiration from the Gerry Embleton picture in the Osprey Landsknecht book. See you at the weekend.

    Cheers, Steve,
Yes, you're quite correct----I'd forgotten the old Osprey book:rolleyes:. A great model, and I should think this new one will do well. This weekend,
I'll be wearing mostly me PF badge [Old Taff, Alan] and a well-waxed moustache!
    See you there,
    Alan
