Hi all,
It's been a while since I have started this figure. It is going very well.
Still many hours of painting in front of me in order to finish what will become my first figure with acrylic paints (Vallejo).
I used to paint on canvas (oils) but this is very very different.
Acrylics and printer's ink except some ivory black on armor
I had a lot of input from my cousin who is a dedicated mini painter.
Many parts were repainted until it was good enough for me.
Lower legs not finished. Many highlights and deep shadows missing. Red ribbons are only base coated.
The sculpture is amazing on this figure.
My picture skills are not good at all and I'm still learning. However I think I can still see on the pictures the velvety feel of the red fabric, and the blue and green parts which have a much coarser thread.
Sorry for my not so perfect english.
All input more than welcome !
Cheers
Alex
