The mojo is flowing so I thought I’d crack on with this little beauty. Love the series of Roman busts brought out by FeR Miniatures. Base coating in Jonsonja acrylics after priming with Tamiya white primer.

I made a bit of progress on the face last night. Still a long way to go, but I’m feeling the mojo flowing.

Not my period but this is very nice. Look forward to more.

Here’s where I finished last night. I still have some work to do on the eyes and then the cheek guards will go on.

Wow John, love the eyes and I know they are not finished yet. I'm glad you have shown a close up of the face, it shows how you build up the flesh tones. Brilliant.

Looking forward to seeing this one develop Tony, going well so far, had my eye on this bust for a while now.

Another session tonight. Added some Venetian red around the eyes and nose and finished the eyes. Not sure whether to gloss the eyes or add catch lights. What do you guys think?
