Cheers Carl it really is a belter of a figure, planning on tucking a shovel under his right arm or stuck into the sand haven't decided yet.

A bit of filler on the join between his left arm and his back wouldn't go amiss Steve. Other than that, a tidy start (y).

    Hi Mario,
I sculpted this figure just for practice using a new clay, I did not intend for it to be commercial and only sent a couple of friends a copy. I do have the mould still and if you PM me I can arrange a copy for you. The figure is 75mm and resin.
    Cheers

Great to see you posting mate. The seam is as you say an easy fix.
The shading on this will be the crucial factor, defining a strong light source and emphasising key areas like the inside elbow joint on the raised arm and the definition between the fingers where the hand rests on the shorts.
Some really good scenic potential particularly if you're brave enough to risk a cast shadow.

Hadn't thought about a shadow Del, good idea. Shading is the scary bit alright, along with a mild sun burned effect.

    Hi Steve,
Endless possibilities for basing this one up. Could even be mounted on a vehicle. Looking forward to seeing the end result.
