G'day guys, seeking your assistance. I'm about to do the Tommy's War bust of the 10th (Scottish) Battalion of the King's Liverpool Regiment and can't find any reference for the patch on the right shoulder. I have the divisional patch of the 55th (West Lancashire) Division on the left shoulder.
It has 3 vertical stripes. Would it be a Brigade patch, or denoting an arm of service like a signaller?
    Any help gratefully appreciated.

Pee Dee is an authority on all things King's Liverpool Regiment.
There is a thread on here, where he explains the patches,
the bust should have 55th (West Lancashire) Division's red roses on both shoulders.
The oblong patch is for WW2.(y)

I've found a 3/4 view of the box art. We have a black/navy blue?, a white and just need that 3rd colour and I'm good to go

Hi guys, this is a wonderful sculpt.
The correction on this is really straightforward.
both arms carry the same red rose of 55th West Lancs Div.
The right arm 'patch' is a misunderstanding of the tactical stripes in black tape worn on the jacket rear below the collar.

The detail of the existing one on the left is so good you can dust the casting with talc and take a mould of the patch or sculpt another.

Just an update, I went right to the source and according to Darren from Tommy's War it's a regimental badge of Black, white, black

    I give up.
Seriously, that is a really insulting response.

    So crack on kiddo.

Why don't you also paint the left arm badges as the box art too, which is actually a misunderstanding of an white enamelled sweetheart badge.

Then it will be completely wrong.

    .

Makes me wonder why the Liverpool Scottish
have commissioned me to design and build the new war memorial as well Nap.
I shall seriously ask this Italian figure model sculptor,
(who can't sculpt a glengarry, and made a sidecap instead),
all these research questions from now on.
