In between gardening & all the other house jobs to be done whilst this wicked virus keeps us at home, I have managed to get this one completed after a long wait sat on my bench for a while

it's roughly a 1/7 scale resin bust produced by Shieldwolf Miniatures and sculpted by George Tsougkouzidis who resides in (you guessed it with a name like that)... Greece.

Check out Georges facebook page where he has posted many of his sculpts, some are very different from the norm, you can purchase direct from him and he gives superb service & contact but as I said this particular bust is from Shieldwolf Miniatures along with several sculpted by George.

Very little clean up was needed on this bust and the casting was excellent, after a quick prime in grey I painted him with my usual base coat of Humbrol matt enamels and then after 24 hrs drying time I then got to work with the oils,

He's mounted on a piece of rustic English yew finished in Danish oil, the name plate still has to be painted something I've forgot to do

Cheers to all & stay safe out there.

Hi Jimbo

Blimey I thought that was you without your vest on ......lol

Looking good ..it's big eh!! ....

Like the flesh tones on him...good to see you painting resin rather than the house !

Is the nameplate cut up rolled out putty ?

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Hello Kev
"Hair & muscles"....if only mate, if only! ;)
Yes the name plate is made from small pieces of rolled putty then fixed onto the base and shaped, I've not painted the letters yet though.
Thanks for sorting the photos...again(y)
Cheers
Jim
