Evening all

Not had much in the way of enthusiasm recently so posting has been sporadic I'm afraid. With the Yeovil show upon us last weekend as well as the usual finished figures for display I rummaged around for something suitable to play with whilst I was there . . .

Found this 1:12 Sherlock bust from H&V which has already been stripped once and then again after adding some smart sideburns which I decided weren't needed after all, but at least he was primed . .

In between chats with the other chaps on the stand (Paul and Bob) as well as the interested public I managed to get some work done on him. Surprisingly given the artificial lighting at the show I didn't plunge him straight into Dettol when I got home, but continued to work on him this week and have nearly wrapped the face up now so thought I'd post him here so that anyone who saw him in his half finished state can see how he's shaping up.

Next up . . . .Tweed (gulp)

I say old chap, reaching for the Dettol that soon. I'm afraid I also have an addiction to Dettol and had to buy another litre of it from a well known supermarket. I was even asked for proof of age.

Nothing done today - in traditional Bank Holiday fashion I was doing gardening stuff (although I did manage some time upside down in the footwell trying to work out why the windscreen washer wasn't working, without much success it has to be said)
