here is a review of a figure i've been waiting soooo long : it took 18 months for it to arrive from Hong Kong to Canada with all the Covid restrictions ! but it was worth the wait !
so here it is : Shadow collector's edition in 1/20th scale from Dustgame. https://dustgame.com/

Dust is a board game, created after Paolo Parente's universe, a fictionnal world war 2 continuing in 1947 , some 1/35 plastic figures have been made back in time (and almost impossible to find nowadays) but the boardgame is still alive and well. they produce mainly 35mm figures for tabletop play but they have produced 3 collector's edition figures and i felt in love with Shadow
so what do we have in the box :
a multipart figure with many options, design of the parts is fantastic and you cannot make any mistake on what goes where as each plug is fitting only one place !
4 arms with weapons, 2 heads (one masked as a ninja the other unmasked), 2 sets of scabbards for the back.

interestingly, and probably to ease the casting, the right leg is in 2 parts

Casting is really perfect but a little bit on the soft side, but all the details are well defined, i have not seen any marks of molding anywhere which is cool as the parts are very delicate ! just a little bit of flash had to be take off on one katana handle.
i decided to assemble her immediately : posture is really feminine with the feeling of a model on the catwalk ! but she looks definitely dangerous and the attitude is the one of a very confident woman, she obviously is skilled in martial arts and weapon handling
she's 90mm tall which is correct for true 1/20 i think.

in conclusion, this will be a real pleasure to paint her and to create a little diorama for her, i can't wait to see where this project will drive me
if you generally paint WWII figures and want a little freedom for once : those figures are top notch !
highly recommended. cost with shipping was 65$ Can.
