Completed Sgt John Breese Bust, 11th Hussars,Crimea veteran

    Hi again guys, the last weeks i had the opportunity to paint for commision this nice bust produced by MitchesMilitaryModels in 200m.It depicts a crimean war veteran Sgt John Breese who lost his right arm and is based on the famous photographs.It's all painted in acrylics, the colors aren't bright and glossy in real, it's in the photos because of the flash light of the camera.Thanks for looking, Chris.

    Lovely work , I am sure that the customer will be very happy indeed , really like the eyes and the lacework , and the medals .

    We have spoken ref the cap so all is well!!!!

    Its interesting to look at my version with NMM and compare the lacework on yours like you I certainly enjoyed painting this piece

    Lovely bit of work over the weekend, you should be proud!
    Amazing metals on his breast plate(?) lace. superb. Leathers are beautiful and I like the blues ofhis tunic.
