    Good evening,

Seems like an age since joining and have to admit, still more inclined to look than get involved. You can pick up so much info from here ;)

Just finished this one and I have to say, thoroughly enjoyed it! A little smaller than I have become used to, but I think that helped to concentrate the mind.

    Tim,
A very nice version of the bust. I'm glad you enjoyed painting it.
The shaved head is very effective.

Very nice face painting. Different from what we often see here as the contrast is less....but I like it. Looks very realistic.

    Good evening,

    Thanks for the comments gents.

Never sure if what I have done is realistic\ convincing or what, so any feedback is welcome.

I must admit one of the hardest part for me was the shaved head effect, I thought it was ok, so thank you for the positive comments. :)

As for the face painting - I can only say that I paint faces as I think they should appear or what my minds eye suggests is ok. I have seen plenty of styles which I have really liked and tried to follow \ copy but never seem to achieve, so I have to settle with what I get really.

    Crikey, you're joking right?

It looks just like old Obidiah... Other than having him talking into his Shako to his "Mother", I don't see how you could have got it any better.

    Superb work.
