    Hi to all ,

Thought I would post a couple of pics , starting to come together now , reworked the epaulettes from a bastion shape to straight (thanks to all that helped with this) .

NMM on the gold's , should have the Royal Arms finished on the rank Badges soon , , then its the collar and epaulettes , the sleeve details , hand and cane, final checks , base up (one of Ron Tamburrini's) name plate (ordered!!!) and then onto the next !!!

Been an enjoyable journey on this and a BIG thanks to Jimbo (my long sufering mate) for sculpting this one ...who never know we might release something similar from Campaign miniature .

    Thanks for looking

Wow, very impressive. I am not a sculptor, unfortunately
but I would think rendering cross arms, with the hands
in that pose would be very difficult to do. This is very
impressive. Good luck with the project.

    Hi Guys ,

This has been a long haul due to various things , nearly finished Mr Edwards sculpted by Mr Evans (Jimbo) , going to probably redo the buttons , the cane will need to be done ...again as I am unhappy with the way it was going (it will be gilt with a badge on the top) .

Having a thought about the base and what to add (possibly the original picture) to it together with a nameplate .

As usual all comments are welcome

Lovely job Kev just one point are you sure the cane head is gilt ? I thought NCO's had silver headed canes but it's not my period so I am not 100%

    Cheers Steve ,

I am not sure about the cane , on other Regts swagger sticks and Canes they are indeed silver mostly , the one he carries was presented to him by the Royal Princes ..so its off again to find anything on it !!!!!

A lovely paint job as always Kevin. I really like the reds and I can see that you have spent extra care time on those medals. Well done mate.
