This is Serbian town guard, around 1450, Fortress of Smederevo, 54 mm scale. Figure was produced by one friend of mine who owns local Belgrade souvenir workshop. I painted the figure and did some modifications. Spear-like weapon on this figure is preserved in one museum in central Serbia, it is one of its kind and it is dated sometime in XVI c. I am not an weapon expert but I think it is possible that similar weapon was in use 50 years earlier:) If somebody knows something on this subject I am interested to hear.
German origin helmet, on this figure, was discovered in one wall in Fortress of Smederevo during reconstruction. Stones in the wall behind the figure was painted in the same colors as the stones in medieval fortresses in Serbia.
I am sorry, but I am not so good in taking photos.

Milten,I'm afraid that black rats only replaced the local brown rats in Serbia around 1480's so you may need a rethink there. Only kidding ofcourse!
Everyone knows the black rats go way back.
Anyway, I think this is a very nice figure in a great setting.
Your photos are fine as well.Well done.

Interesting subject and nice that you personalised and localised it.
A slightly less stiff pose would have boosted this.

Thanks friends, for being so supportive :)

Yes, Spike you are right, a pose of the figure is a little bit boring. I am still not on the level where I can change position of arms and legs :(
+ this figure is made of some odd material !

No I bought the wall :) I also bought rats and basket. Only things I made are spear and sword. ...
    Mozda se razumemo i ovako?:)
