Hi everybody,

Another one on my bench so it quite full now!!!

Its sculpt again from Steve Leadley aka Valiant on PF

Based on the picture in the Osprey MAA 67 The Indian Mutiny book plate D3

I have added a second crossbelt together with the belt plate ( details in 2nd picture!!!) , also reworked the left shoulder epaulette to remove the resin that was in there .

The hand comes separate which will be painted separately and added later together with a base which I have attached..

I need to confirm the cuff details ie if it was 3 or 4 double lace for the regiment, facing colour was yellow

The bust is now primed in Black!!!

Keep watching progress will be slow I have no doubt but hopefully I can do the sculpt justice

Keep watching

Nice neat start Kevin.
Is this one going to be added to your display at BC?

Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Guys

Many thanks for the comments , I like to make sure I gave a tidy basecoat , looking forward to this after the Nursing Yeomanry bust ( nearly done ! )

Lots of potential Tony as you say , might add a couple of Chèverons to his right arm ..but need to check if it's on both sides first !

Would be interested how you guys approach the skin colour as well ...

Thanks for looking n

Playing catch up in my little UK caravan and this fine chap came up Kevin.
Very nice start with your base colours. Is this your first black primed figure?
I know a good number of pF guys use this but I have shied away from it.
Keen to know how many coats you need on the white buff belts.
Thanks for sharing and good luck with your progress.
Keith
