    This figure represents a soldier of the 2nd Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, 10th Brigade, 4th Division. On the opening day of the Battle of the Somme at 09;00 they moved forward into action on the Redan Ridge, by the end of the day they had suffered 394 casualties.

    Well thank you very much Dan. I didn't think it was too bad for a first attempt at a bust. Maybe i've been wasting my time with conventional figures :lol:

    You have made a really great job of the bust , I particularly like the Kharki ...so hard to get it right , nice Seaforth tartan patch as well , look forward to the next one you do , like to see some of your 54mm .
