I've already made a start on this. I've done the horse & tack, just starting on the figure. To let you know I've been using an armature I had (JMD). I lost my mojo with it and put it to one side, this thread may have rekindled it...

I'm watching with interest but I haven't got anything specific that I want to sculpt at the moment. I'm no less keen, I just have other stuff on the go at the minute that I want to get cleared before Christmas :)

Hi Stu, I learned long ago than when you come across someone who knows what they're talking about, shut up and listen! So I just wanted to post a message to make sure this comes up on my alerts(y).
    Best wishes, Gary.

    Hi Stu.
I am more interested in the anatomical bits....especially hands but if you twist my arm it would be anything Victorian.
Many thanks for taking this task on, or is it trial.
    Cheers

Hi Stu - I am keen to try my hand at this. I will post a pic later, but will be something in a small scale (1/48) probably an LRDG figure. Hope that doesn't rule me out.

    Stu,

I tried some sculpting a number of years ago. One, I took to completion and painted; another is still lying around in bits (both 54mm), and finally I tried to do a bust:-

    IMG_0880 r.jpg IMG_0881 r.jpg IMG_0882 r.jpg

While I was half satisfied with the first, the others failed to enthuse me.
What I'd really like to produce is a reasonable bust in 1/10 scale. If I can initially achieve a presentable face, I'll be more than happy.

    Ever in hope,
    Andrew
