Time to push this to finish...
Since the old face was obvious mistake, first I made a new face for him:

    Hi Pokrad

Wow that's a change of subject ...........already looking good , like the weapon position

Is this based on a photograph ?

    Thanks for sharing

Happy new year and a great 2019

It is based on a fake WWII photo:

But since older soldiers were very rare in pacific, I decided to go with younger face, and use real WWII USMC photos for uniform details. Also I would probably add some pouches hanging over shoulder (he is in the water so protecting ammunition to get wet)... Do not know where exactly it will take me, just pushing the things around and keep what I like :)

P.S. Happy new Year to You too, and also best wishes to all PF members !

Here is the rest of the "composition", but beside head and Garand it is still very rough:

I finally have a couple of these casts ready:

The parts are just "connected" with patafix, but it shows how the whole thing looks like.

If anyone is interested, I estimated the price to 25 EUR, drop me a message here, maybe I can sell just enough to get money for the next print ? :)

    Regards !

I could be interested in the Austrian bust.
Are you selling the casts you already have, or collecting money for a future print? Any changes to the 3D render before doing another print?

The badge on the front of the cap, did the lettering not materialize - can't see it in the photos above. I think this button was hollow, so you could make the 'FJI' deeper?

Jack, This is printed and casted. The badge is hollow, but not very deep, and this is phone pic. It is there but not as sharp as it should be :)
I am not going to print this one again, just wandering if I can get the money I put into it back, so I can print some different one :)

    Regards !
