SCULPTING 101 STEP BY STEP

    Here the placket and area where the undercut for the large fold in the front is indicated.

    Here I pressed the tool into the Sculpey and removed some of the Sculpey to begin shaping the fold.

    To give the placket area more of a scale thickness I decided to remove some of the Sculpey in that area.

    Here I start to refine the major folds on the front of the shirt.

    Also note the angle of the trousers. It's subtle details like this that help to add realism to a figure.

    Here are the wrinkles on the front of the shirt refined a little more. I'm going to add a few more wrinkles to the side of the shirt that will be exposed by the raised portion of the jacket.

    I start by placing a large piece of Sculpey that would form the main fold.
