If I may add, in the IDF, the K9 unit ("Oketz"=sting), soldiers and their dogs, operate in a very challenging circumstances, to say the least.
One of the top comedians in Israel, Udi Kagan, is an ex-Oketz soldier, and in his shows, which are wildly funny (my wife and I almost suffocated from so much laughter in one of those) talks openly about his PTSD from his service in that unit.
