Still very much in progress, these 54mm flats from Fredericus Rex will represent Semphill's Regt. in a little vignette.

This is an awesome vignette, Roger! Love it!
Painting looks great, so far and I'm sure it will be a supper class execution when done.
I have a suggestion. I think that putting the figures more close to each other and a little bit offset from the center of the base will brake the symmetry and it will look better as a composition. Just my 2 cents.

Nice start. The red looks very good. Can only agree with Zeno. Not on one line and a litte bit out of the Center (if possible)
 
Nice start Roger. As said the reds look good. I like the tone of yellow you've developed. How do you shade yellows? With a dark red, like a burnt cadmium?

Quite a few irons in the painting fire, Roger! I'm with the others, regarding the red. It has a warmth or a depth to it. I look forward to seeing the next update on these.
