Who did the scene with the Germans in hand to hand combat? It's fantastic!

Young Won did it. It was titled "For Ideology" or something like that. He got a gold medal for it.

A curious note about one of the pictures. The very last one on the bottom right corner - the German pilot in Turkish Service - was sculpted and painted by Randy Myers. For the face, he sculpted a spot-on likeness of German actor Anton Diffring, who you've seen in movies such as "Where Eagles Dare" (as Col. Kramer).

Pretty cool, eh?

One of the real strengths of the SCAHMS show is the tremendous number of outstanding modelers in the immediate area. John Rosengrant, Trevor Hensley, Tim Flagstad, Mike Good, Randy Myers, Barry King, David Whitford, Carson van Osten, Young Won, Matt Wellhouser, Pete Herrera, Steven Weakley, Peter Ferk, Davis Hoffman, Shawn Warcott and Dave Kennedy all live in the central/southern California area, making the show chock full of some of the best modelers in the US, and arguably the one of best concentrations of modeling talent in the world. We at SCAHMS are very lucky indeed!
