The 54th Massachusetts was a Union Army Infantry Regiment made up of African American volunteer enlisted men during the American Civil War

The Regiment were portrayed in the 1989 movie "GLORY" which followed their early conception as one of the Union's first black units to their heroic assault on Fort Wagner where they received over 40% casualties

Bust has been painted in oils, metallic's with printers inks. Base by Pete Watson, Plaque by Nameit

Nicely done Steve, good flesh tones, and nice transitions throughout the bust.
Glory, what a film. One of my favourites of that era.
