    Ernesto,

I am always amazed at your work and this is no exception. You have made the figure look very cold indeed! Everything, right down to the snow on the branches, is so well done.

Ernesto you really did a great work with this classic piece from latorre. The scenery along with the great painting...compose a very good atmosphere. Just a question...where did you get the wooden base from?

That is an example why I do paint these figures, because of people like you Ernest, because when one knows how to paint and add some suggestive atmosphere and a brilliant talent to it, it will come out as beautiful as this one. Perfect example of your master painting abilities. Fantastic:eek: , best regards.

Very nicely done Ernesto. I have to admit, one of my favorite touches are the icicles on the branches behind him. How did you do those?

Hi Jay, how are you my friend, thanks for your comment mate, for the icicles I used Clear from Humbrol, it's very easy to use and effective...

Marcel thanks for your comment :)

Hey Samwell thanks pal, I'm glad to help any one how need it! and of course this is and amazing hobby ;)

Thanks Robert, glad you like it my friend ;) Im just like you, I see a lot of great works and inspire me to paint more...

Tanks Alex, Tony and Marc :)

Hi Brian and thanks, Photography is also not my strong, but what I do is to use two blue bulbs (white Light) one left side and other right side, I cover both with a transparent papper to soft the light a bit. The rest depends of the camera, I use a Sony Cybershot DSCH-2 5.1mp a nice camera. I recommend you to practice with all functions of the camera and DONT USE FLASH a nice tripod also helps a lot, and always use the time temp of your camera at least 2 sec to avoid any shot moving with your finger....

Virgilius LOL, no thanks pal, I'm trying to dont paint bust made with shi%$#.....

Xenofon, thanks a lot my friend, I buy the wooden base in Madrid in the Leon Rampante expo 2006, hope to buy more when I travel to Europe again o_O
