Saxon Cuirassier of the von Zastrow Regiment. A beautifully detailed bust from Legion Miniatures.
well done, I like it!
Nice work Kurt. I like some of the Legion busts. Did you order from Russia or another source? I've experienced some problems ordering from Russia in the past so I'm a bit gun shy about ordering direct.
I ordered directly from Legion through their website, and paid via PayPal. The package came to me straight away without any problems. I purchased two of their busts, and they came very securely package in small wooden boxes.
Based on my limited experience with them, I would recommend ordering directly from them.
Very well done.
Da-Yum, Kurt! Nice! Very nice!
We had some difficulties regarding shipping because COVID, but now we are continuing to make a dilivery again.
I personally back any money to my clients in case of broken parts or delivery problems.
Sorry if you had problem with orders.
Thank you for your prompt and kind response. I would like you to know that my problem was not with your company.

Lovely finish on this one Kurt..... Mike
Excellent paintwork on a bust of the same!
And yes, Legion Miniatures can be highly recommended.
Great finish Kurt. Lovely work on the lace on collar and belt. This looks a super bust from Legion and on my “to get” list.
Here's my review of the piece
The lace, cross belt, and epaulets were all painted using different combinations of Vallejo Light Grey, Medium Gray, Dark Gray and Silver Gray, generally starting with the darker shade first and working to the lighter.
Metallic items were first painted with Vallejo Bronze or Gunmetal, then shaded with Citadel inks, and then the highlights picked out with bright gold or silver printers inks.
The base color for the tunic is Vallejo Deck Tan, shaded with a mix of Vallejo Panzer Aces German Tank Crew Highlights (a muddy brown shade), and highlights with Silver Gray.
