    Hello Folks
This is a figure sculpted by Paul Ovecka in 200mm scale. The kit depicts an SAS soldier on active service during the operations in Oman & Dhofar during the 1970's.
The snipers rifle is a 7.62 L42 based on an original by Steve Reedie. The soldier also carries an M79 Grenade Launcher in his bergen.
The sculpt is inspired by a contemporary photograph and will be available from Mitches Military Models.
Anyone wishing to pre-order please contact me on gordonmi@hotmail.com to reserve one.
    Cheers
    Gordon

Great figure, from a very different and welcome subject and era. Please tell me you would think about making it in 120mm in the future Gordon.

Very rare to see a sitting figure and rarer to see a competently sculpted one. This is fine.

Very nice sculpt. Perhaps a bit too big for me, but amazing nevertheless.

Agreed, a nice change to see a seated figure. I've just ordered it as I can see plenty of conversion potential.
