    Hi guys

The latest release from Sarnia Miniatures - Female RAF ATA pilot of WW2.

The Air Transport Auxilliary provided the essential service of ferrying new and damaged aircraft between factories to the operational airfields, often front-line airfields. Many of the pilots were female, and this bust represents such a female pilot.

    Available from www.sarnia-miniatures.co.uk
    Regards

    Peter

It was reading a copy of her biography whihc inspired me to sculpt the bust. A sad coincidnec was that Peter finished the box artwork the day she died.

I recommend the book ' A Spitfire girl"

This makes a nice change from the run of the mill "Military", bust.
I believe there were " 1 or 2 ", other female ATA pilot busts out a few years back .
Brave lass all of them . As stated a nice tribute to them .
