Well this was a challenge. The photo-etched glasses drove me nuts and the elves are super fragile. Please pardon the photography, the figure actually looks better in person.

I agree Tony. Thats why Andrea put two sets of specs in the kit. I think they learned their lesson with Geppetto. Have a look at mine which is on this site somewhere. I have now painted the elves hats green instead of red as I think that there is too much red in this piece. Red and green always looks more Christmassy anyway. I now use mine as a Xmas decoration under a glass dome with a red ribbon tied around the base. You have made a nice job of yours.

Thanks for the kind words! I needed the 2 glasses, one went the way of so many tiny parts, into the netherworld... This will be a gift to my dear old Mum, and "if" I can get it back in October, I'll enter it in the Chicago Show - fantasy/painters division, I think.
