Samnite General FINALLY Finished!!!!

    Hey guys this gem is finished AT LAST after 1 1/2 months on it :p:p

    I am attaching pics of the first figure almost 1 year ago :) lol what a mess my painting was back then:) I think there is an improvement :)

    Ax always any comments and critique are always appreciated :):)

    Nice one LOLLY ... see that with practice you improve ... no need to invest in needle work or stamp collecting eh !

    PROSIT and keep it up ... now what is your next choice ... might be that grenadier ; )

    Eh, just sweet 16 ... I was far worst then your Robert the Bruce at your age ...

    Nice one laddie.........a BIG improvement by all means :D :D :D

    However I still say that the plume is PERCHED on the wolfskin as if afraid to REST COMFORTABLY like horse hair should do :eek:

    Keep it up NONETHELESS, we're all so very proud of you.......will see it better on Wed :) :eek:

    Ray the plume it has a small gap that shows that is perched but in reality I think imo that it is not :)

    Sibta xi tfisser perched ta fuq dictionary :)

    Don't know what to begin at the moment but I think it will be Elite's French Luitenant Franco Prussian War 70mm, Pegaso's Praetorian Centurion 75mm or Pegaso's Mirmillo gladiator 54mm. I'm so confused :( :eek: :eek:

    I think you are ready to give the older modellers in your club some real competition over the coming years. With so many Master Painters in your club you are bound to improve as you mature. Good on you Sam. I wish I could paint as well as you when I was your age. Hell, I wish I could paint as well as you now!

    Ivan I began the mirmillo yes I would like to do it together :) :)

    Construction phase is almost ready some filling with putty there and there and its finished :) Now tell me where to find some info. on mirmillos and the designs on their shield :) you as always provide the info :p:p

  14. Mela clean him up and set undercoat till Wednesday and then we work a schedule ... this will be fun, I might introduce you to do some simple shield designs ... what do you think?

    Yes Ivan it will be fun cause I never painted a gladiator and never painted the same figure with somebody else :) so this will be an unbelievable experience ;)

    I will prime it tomorrow and take care mate,

    Painted myself and it is a very good figure.
