    The half figure is based very precisely on a picture from the Osprey volume about the "white" army in the Russian Civil War, which shows a Prikashnij (private 1st class) of the 19th Don Regiment - only that "Sabot" made it one of the 4th Don Regiment - after my "Kusma Kryuchkov", which was partly based on the same picture....:

    The time of the Cossack is by no means limited to "1918" - he wears the uniform M 1910 together with the peace cap and the peace shoulder pieces that date from the time before ...

    I took a picture of my ugly hands and my veins do not look like the ones in the bust. May be something wrong with mine.

    Actually a very nice looking piece, not many people would notice the circulatory anatomy of the hands. I do and would change the right hand. How do I know this?. I painted and built the Renwal Visible Man when I was a kid..... Overall I think it's an excellent looking piece.
