Yup Woods457 , that is a 35 piece (give or take) limited run. You can sell this one and the S&T vignette and buy a new iMac Pro fully loaded :)

You could share some photos of the parts of the S&T kit so we, mere mortals can see what's we missed...

Interesting discussion, I thought I was aware of all the S&T releases, I own a few including a now stripped Chosin Few, I will probably never redo. However Julian I don’t think I know of the Vietnam piece which you have mentioned, have you a photo of it please? Just out of interest.

    Cheers

    Hi Julian,

I keep alot of my kits in a storage unit so i'll try and get to it at some point this week to take some pictures..

Out of interest how do you know the quantities produced of the PzIII and the V100 kits, do you have some direct involvement with these companies?

    Regards Ian

Please do, and if one day you want to sell at a price tag below what a Panerai watch is worth, let me know.

I asked Chris Mrosko directly about my Warriors V-100 and when he got the S&T vignette for sale, I asked Him and Andy Meyers who made out the casts at the time. They both had involvement in Warriors, S&T Products and the late New World Miniatures.

Just out of curiosity, any idea how many of the U-Boat deck gun kits that S&T cast?

How about the Jaguar SdKfz 222 armored car?

Figures are Bill Chilstrom and Chris Mrosko. My guess would be Bill did the sculpt and Chris did the paint up.

Strictly speaking 120mm is 1/15 rather than 1/16. The problem with using height of figures is the difference in how they are measured: base of foot to eye level, or to top of head?

    Good luck with your quest.

Sorry, but figures not sculpted by Bill Chilstrom either....

Great thread on 'old' kits & just shows quality will always stand the test of time...:)
Got a few of the old warrior Tank turret series of the US Tanker (apparently a self portrait of JR himself o_O) the 2 panther commanders & the 1/9th standing German General which I pick up on the early days of Ebay for a song....those days have long gone...
good luck with the Pz tank crew...you may be waiting a long time but you never know...(y)

No kidding, and getting any one figure from one maker to match another figure from another, supposedly in the same scale, is a fools errand. I really never understood measuring from the eyes instead of the top of the head, though. Really, it can be very different even from the same maker if they use different sculptors.
Don't get me started on Verlinden...

The T was/is Bill Taylor. I saw both Bill and Jim about a year ago and was able to purchase a couple of kits from them, but this kit was not among them.

I suspect it was because most early model/toy soldiers had a variety of headgear and the eyes were a relatively easy reference point.
