Russian grenadier infantry regiment (Crimean war), 1853-56

    My rendition of the Chronos Miniatures Crimean Russian figure. I opted for the helmeted, head, version, although I appreciate on campaign the cap would have been worn. The shako was new to me, I thought this was worn by Militia units during the Crimea War! Still a nice figure to paint with lots of good detail and is a large 54mm; the size is 58mm as per the information on the website
