Royal Horse Artillery Trousers/ Breeches

    Does anyone know what colour the inside of his trousers / Breeches are please;

    They are tan coloured leather and humbrol number 62 leather is a very good match.

    Referring to C E Franklin Book British Napoleonic Artillery. He states that the leather down the thigh was was black.But around 1810 this changed to brown. As to the shade of brown I would say that very much depends on wear & tear etc.
