Royal Fusiliers Sergeant & Pioneer 1/9 scale conversions.
The RF Sergeant is a bust by Carl Reid for Bonapartes, I've added the legs and changed the pose of the right arm, also added coat tails.
I originally added some legs, bread bag & bayonet, coat tails to this kit for Bonapartes sometime ago, but decided to keep the original legs for the Pioneer.
The Pioneer is a conversion of the Sergeant kit, tassels etc were removed from the Fusilier Cap to be inline with a pioneer uniform of 1789, the gaiters were extended as I believe they were a bit short on the original legs that I had sculpted for Bonapartes, facial hair added in magi-sculpt, the saw with case, axe, bayonet & axe case was all scratch built.
Here's a few dodgy photos for you to look at, I'll be interested to hear what your opinions on these two will be?

    Cheers

Hi Bob, glad you like them, no paint on them yet, I think I've developed an allergy to paint brushes ... or is just my fingers stuck together with dried putty & superglue?

Thanks Kev and thanks for enlarging some of the dodgy photos of mine, but if there's any chance of you moving nearer to me, then the brushes will be out as we speak;)

With this site heaping such opprobrium on recasters, I'm surprised and dismayed that posting entire plates from books is permitted here; "No part of this work may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means..."

I can see what your thinking but plate is solely used for reference , nothing to do with recasting , the plate is readily available on the internet for use by all

I added the credit to the books authors for Jim

Jim done a good job on this ...even though it's " legs" ...lol
