    Hi everyone,

Haven't painted much lately. Had this sitting on my desk for 6 month so I decided to finally finish it.
Absolutely awesome subject...a bit disappointed with this particular casting though (54mm).

Having fun painting it none the less, it is the first time I have painted a figure from this time period. Still in progress as you can see.

    All comment are welcome.

    Regards,

    Anthony

Looks fantastic so far. And you've nailed the colours spot on.

As Anthony says, it is a very generous 54mm. Out of interest I've dug mine out of the stash to measure it, and he's around 70mm from the top of his helmet to his toes.

Also worth mentioning that the fit of the parts is very good also. The rifle and the left hand are cast as one piece, and lining it up with the right hand (cast as one piece with the right arm) is a breeze.

    Hi Steve,

It is indeed very large 54mm figure (size advertised by Beneito)...this has always baffled me as to how some 54mm figures come closer to 65 or 70mm figures, yet are sold as 54mm. In this case it is not just the helmet that increases the size.

The fit is indeed good, but as I mentioned earlier I was a bit disapointed with the quality of the casting.

    Hi Richie,

Thanks for the encouragement. I look forward to seeing the progress you have made on your wonderful diorama - "Pinned Like Rats".
