I am new to figure painting and have recently acquired the Nemrod ACW Confederate Officer figure (N75003); I would like to paint him basically like the picture on the box. I prefer to use acrylics so I was wondering if anyone could help with what colors I need to replicate the confederate uniform?

Any and all help/suggestions will be gladly accepted.

    Thanks'

    Hi Bruce

What acrylics do you use, if you use andrea or velajeo, then they both carry very good representations of the confederate blue and grey within their ranges. Try to use these as a base colour to mix your darks and lights from, using darker and lighter blues/greys and perhaps a slight touch of white in the mix for extreme highlights on the greys... :)

Hope this give a little to you

I'll send you the complete list of Vallejos I used on this same figure later today.
