I have a couple of chores for hands .... but this afternoon I watched with ronin languid eye ..... I had already cleaned ( this bust could be exposed even not painted, so beautiful sculpture) and then I couldn't resist.
This is the result of an afternoon devoted to this wonderful bust Pegaso Models, sculpted by Viktor Konnov.
If it can be useful ... I prepared an acrylic base formed by medium flesh, red vermilion, Earth, a white tip and a military green. After a couple of hands of base color, I outlined the shadows with the Sienna very diluted, so as to highlight areas that should receive the shadows.
After realizing the eyes with Acrylic colours, I switched to oil and I used coloured white, ochre, Sienna and the land umber, lacquer of guarantee and purple.
I still have to fix some things, but nevertheless, I wanted to show you.

Brilliant, always amazes me that the combinations of colors, if only read, can't give such a different end product (?green,?purple..)

Looking forward to see you tackle the kimono.....Thanks

here is the kimono almost complete.
I painted it black with oil paint, because I wanted to deal with this color, that confusing to me.
The crest that you see painted on the kimono is the Ito family.
