    Here are some pictures of my version.My photos have too much light(only these are a little better) so I'll take some new ones today or tomorrow.I started some new projects(s&t 1:16 and a german officer 1:35).I'll show you some updates next week.

    Painting is done with acrylics.I used some inks only for metals.
    The shield:
    I gathered some scorpions pictures and I did the pattern on a paper.
    I painted shield with black+burnt umber+prussian blue.Shading with black and lights adding flesh.
    I then painted some large spots with humbrol darker and glossy mix(mostly black).
    After 5-10 min I scrubbed the surface with an old brush and turpentine.
    I painted the scorpion with red beige+red leather+yellow ochre.Shading adding red leather and lights adding y.o.
    Some chipping again adding this time some gold ink.(then some corrections,overall shanding and lights e.t.c )
