Romeo Models Federal Artillery Driver

Hi all,

I recently bought the 75mm Federal Artillery Driver by Romeo:

It's just beautiful!

Now, I wonder if I could use it as a Confederate Artillery Driver, without complicated modifications (and most modifications tend to be complicated for me...

I will have a look at my books but have you a image you want to convert to ?

As war progressed uniforms often became more diverse and ragged

If I may the figure itself is as you say beautiful so if I did full figures I would paint it as it is

Just my thoughts

Thanks, Kevin... there is no specific image, and plan B is to paint it as it is, but I am planning a group of Confederate figures, and an artillery driver would fit in very well.

The kepi needs to change, only quite minor changes though, I'd take those swords off. His belt buckle, too. I believe some belts did change hands and blokes kept the buckle, but to emphasise his allegiance, I'd change it to a CSA one. It's a good figure and would make an interesting project.
