Hi friends

this is an old project that i didn't think i would ever finish it. but after getting few suggest on painting white from my previous project, i dug up this old one and start again

my aim, in doing this model was expermenting with white color/ using another shade rather than just grey

at the end i am happy with what i learnt, and also happy that i can finish this figure

Hi Ben , I like what you have done a lot but if I may say .... Try adding a little pin wash in black or dark grey to things such as the edge of the leather where it meet the white just to add depth in the crease but don't forget to blot the brush 1st so you can control the flow of paint .
Also with chain mail and other silver -ish things try working up from a dark grey and using silver for just the high lights again use the pin wash for shadows .
I hope you don't mind me saying ( also I work in acrylics not sure if the applies to oils )
