This time I'd like to present one of my older works - a 54 mm model from SGF Soldiers, Roman republican (caesarian) legionary 1 st C BC.
It's not the geratest paintjob, but I still like it. The model is really great, true pleasure to paint.

There is nothing wrong with your paintwork.

Like reality in miniature. Wow, if I could just paint flesh tones like that. . .

Marc - I just belive I could do better
Actually I've never been fully satysfied with my painting.

Rick - my flesh tones recipe: naples yellow deep, burnt sienna, red, white, a bit of magenta and raw umber (for deepest shadows). All oils from Windsor and Newton. Just grab a brush, a mini and try it.
