As the previous poster says, it's a well-trodden path but nevertheless a very nice sculpt and lovely box art.

It is very nicely sculpted indeed but it's a shame that it doesn't fit the current state of knowledge at all. It is about 50 years behind what we now know. Most of it is based on misinterpretations of the evidence that was known in about 1973-1975.

Are the helmet pieces separate from the head? I have a similar bust where the helmet and head are 1-piece; makes the face more difficult to paint, at least for me.

Yes...Looks to be a very well done sculpt;..but I've already done something much like it that I painted quite a few years ago.....

1973- 1975???.......I was still smoking weed and didn't know my ass from a hole in the ground. But I was smart in my own mind.....Now I've grown to be a nice respectable smart ass.

Very nice. I’m curious what historical inaccuracies are there. Great sculpt by Oleg. I’m sure there are others but he’s the only sculptor I can think of who have successfully transitioned to 3d sculpture and maintained realism.

Good to see an Imperial Italic G helmet. The segmental armour has been nicely done as well.

Me too. Always irks me when someone comes on here and claims that something's supposedly inaccurate, but they don't say what or why.

Helmet and head are one-piece, cheek pads are removable,
    face open for painting ;)

Great bust but there should be no baldric clasp which is actually part of a horse harness that was misidentified decades ago which some defence book include.
